The recirculating notches on the base of the tool help to create an almost tornado like effect inside the head of the tool. This eliminates the possibility of water build-up in the spray chamber, which equals a faster drying time and more thorough cleaning. This tool is perfect for just about any situation, but it does a great job of cleaning vertical upholstery surfaces.
